From Survey to Handover

2014

Survey & Planning

Community water quality surveys conducted across 24 villages. Fluoride levels mapped. Village committees established.

2015

First Plants Installed

Two pilot defluoridation plants commissioned in Gurampadutanda and Anathavaram. Operator training begins.

2016

Expansion

Four more plants installed. Community water technician programme launched — training 12 local residents as plant operators.

2017

Full Network Live

All 8 plants operational. Water quality testing confirms fluoride within WHO limits across all sites.

2018

Handover & Independence

Village maintenance committees take full ownership. Echoes of India transitions to monitoring role only.

2024

Still Running

All 8 plants remain operational with zero external support. A testament to local capacity built over four years.
