Building the Foundation
Adavus & Foundations
Core footwork sequences, posture, basic mudras
Abhinaya Clinic
Facial expression, navarasas, devotional expression
Rhythm Lab
Talam cycles, mridangam listening, jathi compositions
Week 2 — June 23–27
Performance & Mastery
Composition Learning
Full choreography — Swarajati or Varnam
Masterclass Day
Guest master from Andhra Pradesh — open critique
Showcase Night
Family performance — all participants on stage
Special Masterclass — June 26
A renowned Kuchipudi master from Andhra Pradesh will join for a full-day intensive. Students will receive individual correction and feedback. Open to public registration — limited seats.
Common Questions
Who can apply?
Indian-Americans ages 8–18 with at least 1 year of classical dance training. No specific style required.
Is this residential?
Yes — students stay on-campus at a Frisco-area facility. Meals and accommodation included in fees.
Are scholarships available?
Yes. Echoes of India offers need-based scholarships covering up to 100% of program fees. Apply alongside your registration.
What is the teacher-to-student ratio?
Maximum 8 students per instructor. Masterclass sessions are larger (up to 20).
